Timber Ridge PTA Announcements

The Literacy Committe invites you to participate in our new Summer Reading Program.  We encourage all students to complete book reviews on books you read over the summer.  Use this form: book-report-fun1
Complete as many as you can and bring them into the Front Office the first week of school   At the beginning of next school year, one student from each grade will be selsected to have a portion of their book review published in the TR times or to appear on TRNN.
All completed book reviews will also be displayed in the media center.

The QUESTION BOOKMARK sent home in Thursday’s folder provides examples of Blooms Taxonomy questions that emcourage children to think about their reading material at a higher level.  This is an important teaching method used at Timber Ridge.  To learn more about Blooms Taxonomy go to www.officeport.com/edu/blooms.htm.

We hope your family has a wonderful summer full of reading and exploring together.
